How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Selva app
- Go to your Profile
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete account
- Confirm it's you by signing in again (password, Apple or Google)
- Tap Delete my account
On the web: sign in at selvaapp.com, open Settings, then Delete account.
Your account and personal data are erased right away, and you're signed out on every device.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to privacy@selvaapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Selva account. We will process your request and respond within 48 hours.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently erased right away:

| Account Information | Email, username, display name, profile and cover photos, bio, settings, and your sign-in (including Apple or Google) |
| Actions You Logged on Your Own | Everything you logged that isn't part of an event, organization, planting spot or organization project — including species, dates, locations and notes |
| Photos | Every photo you uploaded |
| Social Data | Posts, comments, reactions, follows, followers and blocks |
| Activity History | Feed posts, notifications, and your group and organization memberships |
| Leaderboard Rankings | Your personal leaderboard entries |
Comments that someone replied to are replaced with [deleted] so their replies stay readable.
What We Keep Without Your Name

Nothing we keep is linked to your name, email or profile.
